LiveMatrix History

The LiveMatrix team started as an idea from a casual conversation in London 2017, between Francisco, who back then was doing his MRes in Tissue Engineering for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Manchester, Silvana, who was doing an internship at the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC) and a course at Imperial College of London and Matias, who was exploring the innovation ecosystem in the UK aiming to find ideas to set up a new business. In that period abroad, they established a mutual goal: to raise a biotech company focusing on regenerative medicine and sustainable health development by innovative technologies such as tissue-engineered products or complementary medical devices and biomaterials.

Since then, we have been involved in projects development and, currently, we have support from academia (Universidad de Concepcion) and some private companies, which are interested in our developments.
